About us
We are a Non-governmental Organization who promotes conservation of environments for birds by organizing afforestation (tree planting) programs. The aim is to make sure the current generation benefits from biodiversity without compromising the future generation. The organization is under the Non- Governmental organizations Act,2002 to operate in Tanzania mainland
The organisation was founded by Isaac Magesa whose passion is to conserve natural environment especially that supports animals to have a conducive environment to live. This was his idea since childhood. At the age of 23 he started by forming a club where youth were brought together to learn and practice life skills including birds conservation. The club was then registered as an NGO in 2020 for it to be eligible to support more youth in Tanzania
Birds Promote Conservation
Birds have been a driving force behind the conservation movement in Tanzania since its early days, when unregulated hunting, use of toxic pesticides, and destruction of wetlands and other habitats threatened wildlife and wild places.
